Biofilm

Biofilm was established in 1988 and has looked to expand its business internationally ever since. Today, with ongoing sales in 19 North, South and Central American countries, it can truly be said that they have become a major player within the international BOPP marketplace.

Biofilm initially engaged SAV Enterprises to help expedite their inbound container freight.

SAV Enterprises began by handling the trans-loading associated with those imports, but after a few weeks of handling that activity they were able to map out a solution that would expedite the process across all points within the inbound supply chain.

Today, SAV Enterprises handles the all of the trans-loading, cross-docking and multipoint distribution via truckload and less-than-truckload (LTL) modes.

Biofilm supply chain professionals have a single source of contact, complete visibility of product within the supply chain and their time-to-market has been dramatically decreased. In addition to this SAV provides single-source billing and monthly and quarterly load summary reports.

“The folks at SAV are incredible partners – not only are they easy to work with, they have helped us streamline our inland transport process and have given us the control, visibility and reports that we need.”
