Collection of User Information

The SAV Transportation Group has designed this web site to collect information for various purposes. The information collected is used to market and improve the services we offer, to improve our web site content, and to help us contact both our customers and our vendors in the event we need to provide service and/or technical updates.

During the registration process, The SAV Transportation Group requires users to give us contact information via a customer registration form. We then use a customer’s email address to send out customer access information. The customer’s contact information is also used for account purposes such as address verification and confirmation of shipments tendered with The SAV Transportation Group.

During the shipment administration process, The SAV Transportation Group requests shipment information from the user in order to process their shipment. This information includes shipping and receiving addresses, commodity descriptions and dates and times of shipments.

The SAV Transportation Group utilizes this information to generate an electronic pickup with a freight carrier and to forward the necessary shipping documents to the shipping or receiving parties. Complete and accurate Information is required in order for us to accurately process your shipping requests.

Information Sharing and Access

Contracted agents enroll new users by submitting account information to The SAV Transportation Group. The SAV Transportation Group uses this information to create new accounts.

Contracted agents do have access to the account and shipment information for those users they have enrolled but do not have access to any of The SAV Transportation Group’s databases.

The SAV Transportation Group does not share a user’s personal information with any other third parties for any purposes beyond that required for shipment administration.

Use of IP Address and Cookies

We may occasionally use your IP address to help diagnose technical problems and to aid in the administration of our web site. We may also use cookies to help us recognize returning customers and better administrate the repeat functionality of our web site.

Use of Advertising and Pop-Ups

The SAV Transportation Group does not sell advertising anywhere on our web site. If you see advertising pop up messages while using our web site, they are not being served by The SAV Transportation Group and are in no way endorsed or encouraged by the SAV Transportation Group.
